Gamers and the WWE Universe alike already knew that the upcoming WWE 2K16 has an enhanced My Career mode, allowing you to take your character up the ranks from NXT to competing for titles on the main roster, building intriguing storylines along the way.
But new WWE 2K16 footage, obtained by Game Informer, shows that the My Career mode also lets gamers use a brand new 'Create-A-Show' function for the first time ever. That means after creating your own WWE Superstar or Diva, assigning specs to an Arena and detailing the championship belts, you can also fully create a show, as if you're a promoter building an epic pay-per-view card.
The footage from the video shows a gamer setting up a Stone Cold Steve Austin vs.The Rock match, flicking through an assortment of options...down to the match-up screen background, ranging from neon to underground, 90s, goth, steel, hardcore, stars and fighting spirit. It's all in the details.
According to Game Informer, each step of customization has a fluid response free of heavy loading time, which is sure to make the experience that much more enjoyable. Although the possibilities are endless, Tech Times wonders what matches gamers will race to set up first. Can't find too many faults with the demo going with Stone Cold and The Rock to start with.
Yet another reason to count the days down until the October 27 release for WWE 2K16.
