Pro wrestling fans and gamers alike are just over a month away from all hell breaking loose with the October 27 release of WWE 2K16.
In further anticipation of the title, WWE 2K unleashed its newest gameplay trailer, "Oh Hell Yeah," in salute of its cover subject, Stone Cold Steve Austin. The trailer features three minutes of heart-pounding gameplay footage from current superstars such as Brock Lesnar, WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose, John Cena, The New Day and Cesaro, as well as past fan favorites like Shawn Michaels, The Rock and the late Ultimate Warrior.
But the action really picks up around the 2:00-mark, when Stone Cold himself opens a can of whoop ass on the likes of The Rock and The Undertaker, even nailing a bloody Vince McMahon with the Stone Cold Stunner inside a Hell in The Cell match, before adding insult to injury with a barrage of middle finger gestures to the WWE CEO.
The Texas Rattlesnake continues his carnage, wreaking havoc against Dude Love and Rollins, before hoisting the WWE World Heavyweight title in the air in front of thousands of raucous fans. The trailer seemingly cuts out, flashing the tagline, "Raise some hell," but there's more.
Just when you think the clip is done, lightning strikes and Arnold Schwarzenegger appears as The Terminator on the ramp leading to the ring. If this trailer doesn't have gamers hyped to play WWE 2K16, not much will.
Can we get a Hell Yeah?
