WWE 2K16's original roster reveal didn't disappoint with high-powered names such as Stone Cold Steve Austin, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Paige, Finn Balor and Bad News Barrett as its initial characters.
Well, if that wasn't a hot enough start, the newest title in the series—due in stores October 27—has just upped the ante with its second round of roster reveals. According to an IGN report, 12 more past and present WWE superstars have been added to the video game's roster, including heavy-hitting names such as Triple H, Booker T and Kane.
Interestingly enough, the roster additions also include Colonel Mustafa, who—if you blinked during the early 1990s you might have missed—was played by none other than now-WWE Hall of Famer Iron Sheik. General Adnan, an associate of Mustafa, has also been added to the roster, making the future addition of Sgt. Slaughter all the more likely, considering the trio of he, Adnan and Mustafa wreaked havoc on Hulk Hogan, Hulkamania and America, period, leading up to and following the Slaughter-Hogan main-event clash at WrestleMania VII back in 1991.
Rounding out the newly-named additions to WWE 2K16 are Lord Steven Regal, Kalisto (screenshot shown above), Sin Cara and WWE Divas Emma, Eva Marie, Summer Rae and Tamina.
The updated roster now stands at 19 with over 120 unique playable characters expected, when it's all said and done. If there's one WWE superstar who has to make the cut, who will it be?
Don't forget, The Terminator is one of those unique playable characters. Emphasis on unique. Can't wait!
