'WWE 2K16': Finn Bálor Visits The 2K MoCap Studio In Behind-The-Scenes Look

NXT Superstar Finn Bálor is one of six confirmed wrestlers for the upcoming WWE 2K16. We've already seen a glimpse of what he will look like in-game, but now 2K has provided a brief behind-the-scenes look at the motion capture process that brings these wrestlers to life in game.

Bálor dons an infamous ball-covered motion-capture suit and steps into the ring in order for the developers at 2K to authentically recreate his abilities in-game. It's a lot of work no doubt. Those are real wrestling moves being performed, with the developers taking note of every movement the wrestlers make. Considering the amount of footage that needs to be captured for each wrestler that will appear in the game, it's certain to be an exhausting motion capture session. At least it looks like Bálor is having a good time.

"I'll tell ya, it's been an incredible experience to be part of the process here at 2K," Bálor says. "We've had a lot of fun, and I'm really excited about the game finally hitting the shelves."

2K recently announced WWE 2K16 will feature more than 120 unique character models, nearly double that of WWE 2K15. Character variations, such as different versions of various wrestlers from across eras, aren't being counted as part of the 120 unique models, which means fans can expect the biggest roster for a WWE 2K game, ever. Of course Finn Balor is one of those 120, as is Daniel Bryan, the "Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose, WWE World Heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, Bad News Barrett and Diva Paige.

We still don't know exactly what else WWE 2K16 will have in store. Rumor has it the game's single player content will revolve around "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and the Attitude Era, but that has yet to be officially confirmed. Expect an official announcement about some of the new modes and features coming to the game soon.

WWE 2K16 will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on Oct. 27.
