Summer is almost here and what better way to kick off vacation time than to invest in a new gadget for your gaming needs?
Great news for gamers as Amazon and Best Buy are offering a free game when you buy a new Xbox One console. Sounds pretty tempting but this is not a test. You can get that much awaited game you've been hearing about at the E3 for free.
The limited time offer started June 21 and will run until June 27. Those buying the Xbox One 500 GB and 1 TB models will get to choose a free Xbox One game from a list that includes "Batman: Arkham Knight," "Grand Theft Auto V," "Borderlands: The Handsome Collection," "The Witcher III: Wild Hunt," "Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited," and "Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare," to name a few.
Best Buy is also offering various Xbox One bundles online. Some of these bundles come with games such as "Halo: The Master Chief Collection," "Destiny," NBA 2K15" and "Minecraft" for the 500 GB and 1 TB models. As a refresher, the Xbox One 1 TB includes a console with a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack you can plug in with any compatible headset.
The offer is not available on games for preorder and the free games you will be getting are disc-based titles, not the digital ones. But that doesn't really matter when there's a chance to get an extra game for free and you can choose which game you can take home with you.
With great deals like these, taking advantage of the limited time offer is a no-brainer. Spending time bonding with friends over tactical games isn't such a bad way to spend the summer, plus you already have an activity planned out for the rainy days ahead.
