A current issue with Pixel smartphones has been appearing for users for a long time now, with some claiming that the weather forecasts seen on the "At a Glance" widget are not updating to the latest information available.
Because of the various reports and discussions on online forums, Google has now taken notice of the issue and acknowledged the reports of its users.
The bug has been causing quite a stir among Pixel users as they are being given inaccurate weather information by the widget, and Google has promised that a fix is rolling out to improve the experience for all.
Pixel Weather Forecast Bug Appears on Its 'At a Glance' Widget
A new report from Android Police claims that many Pixel users have raised the issue regarding their device's outdated weather forecasts found on the "At a Glance" widget in their phones. It was revealed in a Reddit post that Pixel's bug is showing incorrect high/low forecast in the past week (as of the original poster's writing), but the temperature readings are accurate.
The weather forecasts are the only ones with issues on the widget as the Redditor claimed that when visiting the main Weather app, the forecasts shared are accurate and similar to third-party sources.
On the other hand, users have also claimed that the widget's appearance on the lock screen of the Pixel 8A offers an inaccurate forecast as the temperature for the current day ends up showing the previous day's forecast. On the other hand, the forecast meant for the following day shows that day's forecast instead.

The Verge shares in its report that Google's spokesperson, Matthew Flegal, has confirmed that the company has already acknowledged the issue on Pixel's weather forecasts on the widget. Now, the company is currently rolling out a fix for users that will give them the right weather forecasts of the day and for the future, offering real-time information from its sources.

The Pixel 9 series has greatly focused on improving the overall experience for users, powered by Google's latest developments on Gemini AI, alongside camera upgrades, enhancements, and more.
Google has not been shy when it comes to dropping new features for the Pixel, with last year's drop centering on "game-changing" updates to its cameras. This included enhanced camera control, improved HDR+ experiences, the awaited advanced "Pro" settings, an upgraded Pixel Recorder, and overall upgrades to the built-in camera app.
That being said, Google has faced various bugs that plague its Android operating system as well as the native Pixel interface, which users have complained about before and is something that the company addressed in various updates.
