The latest titles in Nintendo's Animal Crossing series were announced today at E3 2015.
Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival will feature a slew of new characters, as well as a multiplayer Mario Party-esque set-up and a selection of single-serve games. The game will be available for Wii U in winter of 2015.
At present, not much else is known about this latest Animal Crossing iteration, which will be sure to change in the upcoming months. Amiibos are a series of Nintendo character toys launched in November 2014 that interact with many of Nintendo's games on the Wii U and 3DS. They're powered by the Wii U Gamepad's built-in NFC sensor.
Also announced today for Nintendo 3DS was Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designers, which focuses on home decoration, as well as exterior and interior design, to the taste of the player. The title will be released Sept. 25.
