AT&T Joins T-Mobile With Buy One Get One Free Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Offer

AT&T knows the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge are hugely popular and it has announced a new deal. The carrier will offer the smartphones under a new BOGO (buy one get one) deal, just like T-Mobile, which kicks off on March 11.

Early reviews of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge have been very positive and it's rumored that preorders for the pair have shattered records for Samsung. The smartphones will officially go on sale on March 11 around the globe but some lucky T-Mobile, Sprint, AT&T, and Verizon customers have already received their handsets.

AT&T knows there is very strong interest in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge and in an attempt to capitalize on that, it has announced a new BOGO promotion for both smartphones.

The offer applies to AT&T subscribers who purchased a Samsung Galaxy S7 or S7 edge on or after Feb. 26 using AT&T Next, which is the carrier's monthly installment plan.

"There's never been a better time to switch to AT&T," said Glenn Lurie, president and CEO, AT&T Mobility. "You can get this buy-one, get-one offer and also get up to $650 in credits per line to help you switch to AT&T when you trade in your current smartphones and buy new ones on AT&T Next. Plus, you can get unlimited data if you have DIRECTV or Uverse2. These deals are incredible."

The Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S7 edge boasts a 5.5-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED dual-edge curved screen. The handsets are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, includes 32 GB of internal storage, and microSD expansion slot, with support for uo to 200 GB microSD cards.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge both pack in a 12-megapixel rear camera with phase detection, autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization), and 5-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies and video chat. The smartphones feature a premium metal and glass case that are both water and dust resistant and the Galaxy S7 includes a 3,000 mAh battery, while the S7 edge uses a 3,600 mAh battery.
