Samsung just launched its latest flagship smartphones at Mobile World Congress 2016. The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will be released by Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint and here's the latest on preorders, pricing, release date, and extras being offered.
When Samsung officially took the wraps off of the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, it impressed smartphone fans and tech critics by building upon the course it charted with last year's Galaxy S6 and S6 edge. This time around however, the company differentiated the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge to that of its predecessors by using a 5.1-inch display in the Galaxy S7 and opting for a larger 5.5-inch screen in the S7 edge, which makes using its updated Apps Edge applications easier and which have been enhanced for the larger dual-edge curved display.
While the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge share the same overall glass and metal design of the S6 and S6 edge, Samsung was able to add enough new features to entice Galaxy S6 and S6 edge owners to want to upgrade as much as those looking for the latest flagship Android smartphone with all of the latest high end specs and features. Some of their most notable features include 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD displays, Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, liquid cooling technology, microSD expansion slot, and IP68 certified to be water and dust resistant.
Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint have all confirmed they will offer their customers the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
