After last night's episode of The Flash that had Barry Allen teaming up with Captain Cold's sister just to find out he's been double-crossed, we got a sneak peak at what's to come next week on the hit CW superhero series.
Titled "The Fury of Firestorm," the episode will focus on Barry and the team looking for a new partner to help the critically ill Dr. Stein, who is in desperate need for a match to save his life and join him as Central City's Firestorm after Ronnie Raymond went MIA.
They all turn to newcomer Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (Franz Drameh), and ask him to tap into his powers since he has the ability to shoot fire out of his hands.
In the comics Jax is known as the character who is friends with Ronnie Raymond (who is played by Robbie Amell in the series) during his early adventures.
But with Ronnie missing (chances are he's stuck on Earth-2), Jax takes on the role, although he may not be the ideal person to become the other half of the Firestorm Matrix.
The official synopsis of the episode is as follows:
Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team look for another Firestorm match for Dr. Stein (Victor Garber). When the team meets Jefferson "Jax" Jackson (guest star Franz Drameh), Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) has her reservations about whether Jax is the right match for Dr. Stein. Iris (Candice Patton) surprises Joe (Jesse L. Martin) while Barry and Patty (guest star Shantel VanSanten) grow closer.
