Disney and Pixar recently released the international trailer for the upcoming animated film The Good Dinosaur that made us all warm and fuzzy inside.
However, Pixar fans know that one of the best parts about checking their movies out in theaters is that they feature animated shorts before the feature film. While The Good Dinosaur will focus on friendship, the animated short that will debut before it will explore religion and the differences between generations.
Titled Sanjay's Super Team, the clip introduces us to adorable Sanjay, a kid who, like us, loves superheroes. Directed by Sanjay Patel (Monsters, Inc.), the clip shows the little Indian-American boy glued to the TV as he watches the series Super Team with his action figure in hand. As he is watching the show, his Hindu-practicing father rings a bell to start morning prayers. However, Sanjay is not so happy about not being able to tune in to his TV show, putting the volume up higher to ignore his father.
His insistent father then turns the volume back down and holds out his hand for Sanjay to hand over his toy to put religion first.
Watch the first clip for the animation short below.
The Good Dinosaur and Sanjay's Super Team will hit theaters Nov. 25.
