Disney and Pixar released a new international trailer for their latest animated feature film, The Good Dinosaur, on Monday, Sept. 21.
Featuring previously-unseen scenes from the film, viewers get a look at the dino named Arlo and his budding friendship with his human pet, Spot.
Directed by Peter Sohn and starring Frances McDormand, Raymond Ochoa, Jeffrey Wright, Steve Zahn, AJ Buckley, Anna Paquin, Sam Elliott, Marcus Scribner and Jack Bright, The Good Dinosaur follows the story of what would have happened had the asteroid not fallen upon the Earth and caused the extinction of the prehistoric beasts.
The Disney and Pixar Animated Studio film follows a young Apatosaurus (voiced by Ochoa) who becomes separated from his father (similar to an on-land version of Finding Nemo) after getting sucked up by the river rapids and is on a quest to get back home.
Along the way, he roars alongside a group T-Rex dinosarus who encourage him to give his best yell and gets some help from his sidekick, the baby cave boy Spot. Even though he misses his family, he finds a bond with Spot, who is there to comfort and help protect him. Arlo the Apatosaurus learns to face his fears to be able to learn of what he is really capable.
From the new trailer, we learn that the relationship between Arlo and Spot will be a huge plot point in the film. We also get to hear more dialogue between the characters and see the prehistoric Earth come to life through vivid and dreamy scenes.
The Good Dinosaur hits theaters November 25. Watch scenes from Arlo's brave adventure in the international trailer below.
