Verizon LG G Vista image leaks revealing possible 5.9-inch LG G Pro 2 Lite heading to Verizon

Verizon is getting ready to launch two highly anticipated LG smartphones in the near future. We know one of those will be the LG G3 and, thanks to a reliable source, the second will be the LG Vista.

LG is tired of being in the shadows of Apple and Samsung when it comes to releasing high-end and innovative smartphones. When the company unveiled last year's flagship G2, it decided to place the smartphone's power and volume buttons on the rear of the device. LG claimed the positioning allowed users to operate the 5.2-inch smartphone with one hand more easily since when holding the device, your index finger naturally rests in this area.

LG has just announced that it will begin a global rollout for the G3 beginning June 27. All four major carriers in the U.S. will launch the 2560 x 1440 QHD-equipped smartphone. It looks like Verizon will begin offering its customers the LG G3 and an unannounced LG G Vista.

The always-reliable tipster evleaks posted an image of the Verizon LG Vista and message, "Everyone loves a good mystery, so let the games begin. This is ..."

The image shows a rubberized shell/holster combo case for the LG G Vista. The tipster didn't provide any details of what the smartphone's specs entail or any idea of when we might see this in Verizon's smartphone lineup.

It's very possible that the LG G Vista is a Verizon variant of the LG G Pro 2 Lite. In case you're not familiar with the LG G Pro Lite 2, it's a lower-end and budget version of the LG G Pro 2. If this is the case, we're looking at a phablet with a 5.9-inch display and powered by a lower-end quad-core or dual-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. This will allow consumers who want a phablet for its large display not have to shell out a lot of money for flagship devices like Samsung's Galaxy Note 3 and HTC One Max.

We'll be sure to keep you posted on all things Verizon LG G Vista as more information becomes available.
