A new video shows how Apple's upcoming 5.5-inch iPhone 6 compares in size to the most popular phablet on the market. If you thought the Galaxy Note 3 was big, check out the iPhone 6.
You can expect to hear more about Apple's upcoming 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhone 6. We've read all of its rumored specs, like larger displays and faster A8 processors that are more efficient and increase battery life. It will also mark the second time Apple has introduced a larger iPhone since it began selling the original 3.5-inch smartphone in 2007. When the company introduced the iPhone 5 in 2012, it made the jump to a 4-inch screen.
The 4.7-inch iPhone has already been compared to two of its main rivals, Samsung's Galaxy S5 and HTC One M8. We also showed you the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 with its larger 5.5-inch sibling. Since the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 has been getting most of the action lately, a video now shows how the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 compares to the 4-inch iPhone 5s, 4.7-inch iPhone 6, and 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3, and 5.5-inch LG G3.
TechSmartt posted the video below, and are using mockup iPhone 6 dummy units case makers are currently using to create cases ready for the iPhone 6 launch. The video shows that the 5.5-inch iPhone is very large and towers over every device seen in the video. Much of the reason the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is larger than the 5.5-inch LG G3 and 5.7-inch Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is due to the panels above the display for its earpiece, FaceTime camera and sensors below for Touch ID. The panels are identically sized at the top and bottom of the smartphone. The same panel design also makes the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 close in size to the 5.1-inch Samsung Galaxy S5.
Apple has also made both iPhone 6 models ultra-thin and much rounder in comparison to the iPhone 5 / 5s.
If you've been curious about just how big the 5.5-inch iPhone 6 is going to be, this video gives you a great idea. As with all unannounced Apple devices, take this with a grain of salt for now.
