Season 2 of The Flash is just around the corner — two weeks away, to be exact. And judging by the rate at which these trailers and posters keep arriving, The CW really doesn't want you to forget about it.
This trailer is just 20 seconds in length, so it's crammed with extremely short clips cut together in a blink-and-you'll-miss-it fashion. The "Two Weeks" trailer, as it's called, contains several clips of the cast on set, being silly or casual between takes. You'll also get a glimpse or two of Jay Garrick, the Golden Age Flash, who appears in Season 2, played by Teddy Sears.
In Season 2, The Flash is set to feature all new threats and, in fact, a whole new world, since Barry changed the past at the end of Season 1. Here's The CW's official description:
"Following the defeat of Barry Allen's arch-nemesis Eobard Thawne (aka Reverse Flash), Team Flash quickly turned their attention to the singularity swirling high above Central City, which fans last saw consuming everything in its path. Armed with the heart of a hero and the ability to move at super speeds, Barry charged into the eye of the singularity, but will he actually be able to save his city from impending doom?"
The main villain of Season 2 is expected to be Zoom, a speedster who's considerably faster than hero Barry Allen. In addition to Jay Garrick, the show is also planning to introduce Wally West, whom fans know as the teenager who becomes Kid Flash. Whether that's in the cards for him on the show or not is a closely guarded secret.
Check out the new trailer, which is sure to get fans giddy, right here.
Mark your calendar and tune in on Tuesday, October 6th for the return of The Flash.
