Productivity app Todoist is giving its web, plug-in and desktop apps a major makeover. Now, its users are treated to a refreshed interface with a cleaner, brighter look and feel, as well as smart new features.
In a blog post shared on its website, Todoist says the rebranding has been more than a year in the making.
Among the changes its users can already notice include its logo, color scheme, typeface, websites, as well as the blog. Todoist says the update is aligned with the brand's mission: "To build a tool that can help anyone achieve more every day."
New Logo
"The most identifiable part of any brand is its logo," says Todoist. "With that in mind, we embarked on creating a new 'face' of Todoist that would show the world what our product, team, and users are truly all about."
The new logo shows three checkmarks, which, according to Todoist, symbolize the plan, the action, and the result.
Todoist Brand Typeface
In a bid to provide a unique look and feel, Todoist has decided to change its typeface from Open Sans to Graphik font, saying it is cleaner and more recognizable.
Website and Blog
To provide a more "empowering" experience to its users, Todoist updated the website and blog's typeface, imagery, and color scheme.
Web, Plug-in, and Desktop Apps
Todoist now offers a cleaner and brighter design. It also comes in 10 customizable color themes and sports more spacious list rows. It is also worth noting that the new design is more responsive. This means, according to Todoist, that the app's display will adjust to various window sizes.
