WWE 2K16's roster is sitting at an even 100 after its latest reveal of 23 characters, superstars who were mostly staples of the 1980s and 1990s.
Shawn Michaels, The Hart Foundation (Bret 'The Hitman' Hart and Jim 'The Anvil' Neidhart) and the three faces of Mick Foley (Mankind, Cactus Jack and Dude Love) headline the latest list of roster additions released by IGN for the highly anticipated video game, slated for an Oct. 27 release.
As part of the latest group added to the roster, IGN also obtained yet another full ring entrace video—this time of the fun-loving, hip and swell Dude Love. Love's entrance, equipped with his classic alternating-hands-on-knees' dance, is quite the sharp contrast to the no-nonsense ring entrance of 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar released last week.
In addition to the aforementioned headliners, the group of 23 superstars for the latest roster addition include Billy Gunn, Christian, Damien Sandow, D'Lo Brown, Farooq (Ron Simmons), Haku, The Honky Tonk Man, Jake 'The Snake' Roberts, Kama Mustafa, Ken Shamrock, Paul Wight, Rikishi, Vader, Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon, X-Pac and the late British Bulldog.
Imagine the fun that could be experienced, pitting Mankind up against Cactus Jack and Dude Love in a Triple Threat TLC (Tables, Ladders and Chairs) match? Week after week, 2K manages to only increase anticipation for this title.
Remember, 2K originally promised over 120 unique playable characters, meaning there's more than 20 superstars that have yet to be revealed. Who should make the cut?
