Simply put—some of the most iconic pro wrestlers of all time have just been added to WWE 2K16.
As part of its weekly roster reveal, late WWE Hall of Famers Andre the Giant and 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, as well as The Rock, headline the latest group of playable characters for the highly-anticipated title. The Undertaker, Chris Jericho, Batista, Edge, John 'Bradshaw' Layfield, Stephanie McMahon, Sgt. Slaughter and the late Ravishing Rick Rude also join the list of new characters added to the roster, in addition to Simon Gotch, Santino Marella, Ryback, R-Truth, Natalya, Luke Harper, Fandango, Erick Rowan, Curtis Axel, Aiden English and "The Lunatic Fringe" Dean Ambrose.
As part of the latest roster reveal, IGN also released a full ring entrance from "The Beast" Brock Lesnar in WWE 2K16. Flanked by Paul Heyman and equipped with his signature fireworks, Lesnar's ring entrance is as real as it gets in this clip. From the moment his entrance theme hits the loud speakers, Lesnar is every bit of the disruptive force that he is on WWE's Monday Night Raw or during pay per views. 2K does a solid job capturing the most minute details and mannerisms as this clip demonstrates.
IGN also released this screen grab of The Undertaker that's pretty true to who the Dead Man is and has been to the WWE for all these years.WWE 2K16 is scheduled for an October 27 release. And the anticipation keeps building...
