Skittles Tabs Marshawn Lynch As Salesman On TV Shopping Network

Marshawn Lynch loves Skittles ... maybe even more than football. Last September, in a weird mix of his two passions, the Seattle Seahawks running back even trained with Skittles, lifting a barbell filled with the candy.

Beast Mode's love for Skittles is so apparent that to celebrate the upcoming start of the 2015 NFL season, the candy brand itself tabbed Lynch to be a salesman on the Evine home shopping television network Tuesday (September 1) in a surreal clip going viral. The live spot has Lynch hilariously pitching a Skittles original tray of 36 individual 2.17-ounce packs for a special "celebration price" of $14.86. What a deal!

"We're intimate ... we became one. You want me to show you how it's done," Lynch tells his co-host, Allison Waggoner, before popping one piece of the fruit candy into his mouth. "Now, we're one."

Other highlights include Lynch saying he'd leave a party if there weren't any Skittles being served and potential dating interests are "sour" and "not sweet enough" if they don't like the candy. Waggoner even hands off a box of the candy to the bruising rusher, as if it was a football, before proposing to him with a Skittles-encrusted ring (Lynch, of course, said "I do").

This unbelievably over-the-top clip is gaining more and more views by the minute. What a way for Beast Mode to kick off the new football season. Better believe that these cases of Skittles are going to be littered around the Seahawks' locker room. It's only right.
