Batman is in Suicide Squad. We know this thanks to various set photos that have leaked onto the web.
What we don't know is exactly why. What is Batman doing, and what will his role be in the film? Multiple theories have been tossed around, but we may now definitively know the answer, as multiple sources have confirmed Batman's motifs in the upcoming movie to Heroic Hollywood.
If this turns out to be true — spoilers below for Suicide Squad! Read on at your own risk!
According to Heroic Hollywood, at least one of Batman's scenes in the film will involve the Caped Crusader paying Amanda Waller a visit in her maximum security prison designed to house various super villains. Batman sneaks into the office of Waller, who oversees the Suicide Squad.
Turns out Batman doesn't fully endorse the idea of a team of super villains doing the government's dirty work, and he lets Waller know that he will hold her personally responsible for any innocent lives lost.
That may explain why we later see Batman clinging to the roof of Joker's car. Batman is keeping an eye on the Suicide Squad and seems ready to step in if necessary to prevent them from doing harm to civilians caught in the cross fire. Considering Joker is involved, chances are keeping everybody safe is going to be more than a little difficult.
