The Order: 1886 is one of Sony's biggest PlayStation 4 exclusives. It might also be one of the shortest big budget games in recent memory, as a leaked playthrough video of the entire game on YouTube clocks in at around five hours.
Youtuber PlayMeThrough uploaded the videos of the game over the weekend, showing The Order: 1886 from beginning to end, taking roughly five hours. Of that time, roughly half of it is gameplay, with the other half consisting of cutscenes.
PlayMeThrough does seem to rush towards the game and rarely dies. It is possible the player is also playing through the game on a lower difficulty, making it easier to progress through the title's campaign. Others have claimed the game, when not sped through, can take about nine or 10 hours. One player on popular game forum NeoGAF says they explored all of the game's areas and found the majority of the hidden collectibles, with their total playtime clocking in around 10 hours.
Earlier rumors suggested the game was only three hours long, which prompted The Order: 1886 developer Ready at Dawn's founder Andrea Pessino to tweet the following:
Sony has yet to officially comment on the matter. The game launches Feb. 20 on PlayStation 4. Expect full reviews for the game to definitively answer exactly how long the story takes to play.
