'GTA 5' Receives Most-Sought Ray-Tracing Feature
Ray-tracing has been one of the most sought elements of gaming at present, given how effective it is in bringing more realism to the environment of the game.
Although not all games can activate ray tracing, some popular video game titles are gradually adapting to it.
According to a report by Eurogamer, the popular franchise "Grand Theft Auto" is getting a ray-tracing feature in the next-gen consoles: Xbox Series X and S and Sony's PS5.
With this, players can now observe the ray-traced reflections in-game through the 30fps Fidelity Mode. The reflections in water and other surfaces have become closer to real-life reflections.
Before, gamers are already satisfied when they see a helicopter flying past a building. With ray-tracing in "Grand Theft Auto 5," you can observe that their waves are reflecting the lights when you are aboard a helicopter.

It is expected that the game's storyline will further improve as "Drug Wars" graces the New Year with another surprise for fans.
Despite being released nine years ago, "GTA Online" remains playable for gamers. Although various updates have arrived to the game, the players do not look away from its rich storyline and narration all throughout.
Still, fans are hoping that Rockstar will reveal "GTA 6" before the year ends. It's quite possible according to the rumors, but if it's not, it might take at least three to five years before we see another installment coming into action.

Speaking of ray-tracing, the feature was announced to invade the Android platform soon. In June, Tech Times reported that ARM shared its plans of releasing Immortalis GPU to bring the best mobile gaming experience to all users.
The chipmaker said that by the time it arrives on Android smartphones, users will notice a 15% boost in the gaming performance of their handsets. The GPUs with equipped ray tracing are expected to come next year.
