"I was SO convinced that this was just a really elaborate April fool's joke, but no, this is actually real. Well done my friend," said one of the YT users in the comment section.

In the viral video, you will see the original graphics of the shooting title, as well as its new visual effects after using ray tracing.

The output is quite astonishing since it is more HD. You can say that it is comparable to how the most detailed version of "Minecraft," but with zombies and other monsters present.

sultum_t was able to use ray tracing by adding the dynamic lighting system to the game's first three versions, as reported by PC Gamer.

What is Ray Tracing

Ray tracing is the rendering method that allows games to achieve realistic light effects. It uses an algorithm to trace the path of light.

After that, ray tracing simulates the way that the light interacts with the virtual objects. As of the moment, many game developers are already using ray tracing features in their titles, such as "Minecraft," "Cyberpunk 2077," "Fortnite," and many more.

If you want to see how ray tracing actually works on "Doom," you can view the YouTube video below.

Meanwhile, "Call of Duty: Warzone," developers said that they want to have 200-player matches.

Recently, the Xbox Game Pass will soon have a family plan that can accommodate five players.
