"Pokemon Scarlet and Violet" fans are surprised over a wild revelation of a new Pokemon in Paldea in a fake webinar. The Pokemon professors witnessed a Diglett-like creature at the World Pokemon Ecological Society live conference call.
'Pokemon Scarlet and Violet' Reveals Wiglett
The upcoming Pokemon mainstream game from Nintendo Switch will be launched two months from now. The Pokemon fans all over the world could not contain their excitement for every update in "Pokemon Scarlet and Violet," especially if it's all about a new Pokemon in the region of Paldea.
According to the latest report by Comicbook, the Pokemon Company has earlier shown the beautiful setting of the Mediterranean Spanish-themed region to the viewers.
The Paldea region is somewhat a brand-new area for exploration, which will soon arrive in the Gen 9 Pokemon game. Surprisingly, the scripted webinar has witnessed a strange creature similar to Diglett, a ground-type Pokemon from the Kanto region.
However, the new Pokemon appears to be a distant cousin of the Gen 1 creature. The members of the World Ecological Society argued about Wiglett's whereabouts and possible connection to Diglett.
At first glance, you will see the resemblance between the two Pokemon. From their eyes to their behavior of burying under the ground, you could easily mistake Wiglett as the Paldean variant of Diglett.
Actually, many people are confused if it's a Pokemon with a different type or an entirely unique Pokemon in Paldea. As of writing, it's not yet confirmed if Wiglett is also Diglett-- but with water type.
"Although they appeared to be the Palden form of Diglett, we've learned that they live and eat differently as if they are entirely different Pokémon," the host of the live conference call said.

Previously, Tech Times reported that some Pokemon players were disappointed about the leaked gym battles in the newest Pokemon Switch game.
Although the game will be an open-world game, the old format for the gym battles will still be used. The gamers expected that they could have the freedom to select who they battle first, but in reality, that's not the case.
