TeslaCam Footage Helps California Police Arrest the RIGHT Serial Keyer

TeslaCam is not your average dashboard camera as it helps solve crimes and catch the right criminals that are going around and doing petty offenses against public and private property. A YouTube video released earlier showed how a TeslaCam provided surveillance on an event, one where a criminal uses keys to scratch or vandalize other people's cars.

TeslaCam Helps California Police Catch the Right Criminals

According to a video by Wham Baam Teslacam, there was an incident that the California police has been investigating, and it is a "serial keyer" that vandalizes the vehicle of people with parked cars. Here, the criminal goes on and chooses random victims and goes on to damage the paint on other cars that he chooses.

A TeslaCam helped in identifying the culprit, and the footage shows the entire incident that brings the culprit to light. According to UK Motor 1, the damage to the paint of the electric vehicle is an estimated $4,800 alone, and the culprit keyed two cars in the parking lot.

The TeslaCam saw everything and has it on record, giving the police what it needed to hold against the criminal.

Users can only get TeslaCams with their Tesla electric vehicles, and the technology is no longer available to other car manufacturers as it comes standard with all of the company's releases. The reason for that is because it is integrated into their systems and works with the EV's AI, which helps in protecting the car against external threats when the owner leaves it.

TeslaCams are better than dashcams as it works with the Sentry mode and help protect the vehicle and keep it safe despite leaving it in a shady area.

TeslaCam and its Sentry Mode

Tesla is taking security seriously, and it brings a system that integrates with the car's AI and software that will keep the vehicle safe at any given time while staying inside or leaving the vehicle. The key feature inside a Tesla is the "Sentry Mode," and it is the overall system that takes charge whenever the car is parked, and a driver leaves the car behind.

Connected to the Sentry Mode are the car's central locking system, alarm, and TeslaCam that help in connecting all of its security features with everything available to control on its integrated application.

There was once a report that saw the usefulness of the TeslaCam, and it was with a shooting incident that recorded the entire event.

Despite being known to be "soft" vehicles, they are regarded as electric vehicles that do not have an internal combustion engine. However, it is not going soft on its security as the company employs the Sentry mode on every occasion that brings safety for all drivers, especially with the use of TeslaCam, which now, provides footage for law enforcement.
