Twitter: Deboosting Elon Musk’s Fans? Tech CEO Thinks It’s the ‘Algorithm’

Twitter may be in the process of deboosting users on the platform when they reply to Elon Musk, and several people think that it is going against the fans of the tech CEO. Musk replied to these statements and said that the current algorithm of the platform is "not genius," and focuses on this setup in the present.

There may be a change in the algorithm once Twitter's deal with Musk pushes through in the future.

A user on Twitter questioned its algorithm and how it treats the people around Elon Musk, particularly those fans that reply to the tech CEO regularly on the platform. The user said that the social media company deboosts the people who respond to the Tesla CEO and is not playing a fair game.

The tweet also mentioned that it deboosts those that use GIFs and the word "yaaaas" in the platform.

Twitter Algorithm is 'Not Genius'; Changes Soon?

Musk replied to this statement and put the blame on Twitter's current algorithm, that those in the current management of the social media designed for the company. The tech billionaire said this algorithm is "not exactly genius," and it is not the same thing that "intentionally" deboosts the people who reply to his tweets.

Here, people like Pranay Pathole, a known online personality with which whom Musk interacts, said that an open-source algorithm that Musk promises would work well. Musk agrees with this statement, and it may be something that the public will see in the future, especially if the deal pushes through and the executive takes over the company.

Twitter, Elon Musk, and the Future

Twitter is a platform that existed in the past for many users that helped in the late 2000s era when blogging was the thing; a social media that brings an outlet for the public in the present-and is looking at a future with Musk as its head.

Its algorithm is one of the reasons why it is a famous platform, and many prefer Twitter over other social media that have more restrictions and content which mostly tracks their data. A new policy is looming over Twitter, and it will focus on a new strategy that will hide misinformation during a crisis to prevent any dangers.

The social media's future focuses on a platform that will help the public with their many needs, especially with the many promises and claims of the tech CEO.

Despite Twitter being one of the preferred platforms of the public now, it is not exactly a perfect one as many people find inequality in terms of treatment and focus on all. Nevertheless, Twitter is a platform that brings an experience for all, and maybe, it will have a future that will help its users to have a balanced side.
