Cuteness Overload: Disney Ranks its Most Captivating Dogs

From Goofy and Pluto to Winston, Disney has immortalized man's best friend time and time again on screen. Disney Dogs have their own thriving franchise in the Walt Disney empire, which is right up there with Disney Princesses and Disney Villains.

Since Pluto the Pup's first appearance in 1930 and all the way through to Winston, the latest animated mutt in CG joining the Disney Dog family, all of the famous mutts have now been ranked according to their cuteness in this online list.

It was a tough job, but the folks over at Oh, My Disney managed to comb over the hundreds of animated pups in the Disney family to come up with this adorably fluffy list.

Get ready to have your hearts stolen "with just a wag of the tail or a tilt of the head," according to Oh, My Disney.

At number 17, Nana from Peter Pan is only in the first few minutes and last few seconds of the movie, but she manages to convey perfectly the loyalty, companionship, and absolute devotion for the Darling children before they set off on their adventure to Never Never Land.

Following Nana are Dodger from Oliver and Company, Stella from Princess and the Frog and Bruno from Cinderella. These three pups have mastered the puppy dog eye look and never fail to be there for their friends when they are needed.

Slinky from Toy Story, Zero from The Nightmare before Christmas, and Sparky from Frankenweenie are the next dogs on the list. Slinky and Sparky are the first CG-animated pups to be mentioned while Zero has the distinction of being the only stop-motion animated ghost dog to be listed.

At number 10, Lady, from Lady and the Tramp is in a whole new category of her own, in our opinion. Who didn't fall in love when she and Tramp shared a romantic spaghetti dinner while being serenaded under the light of Bella Notte?

On the list at numbers nine through five are Bolt from his eponymous movie, Rolly who beat out all his brothers and sisters from 101 Dalmatians, Copper from The Fox and The Hound, Little Brother from Mulan and Percy from Pocahontas.

Pluto, Disney's first dog, also earns a spot on the list. As the first animated dog to come out of the studio and as Mickey Mouse's most loyal friend and companion, Pluto captures our hearts as well.

Dug from Up -- squirrel! -- and Max from The Little Mermaid slobber their way onto the list at numbers 3 and 2 respectively.

Finally, at the number one spot is Disney's cutest canine Winston from Feast. Someone please give him another french fry!
