Overwatch Update Has Its Googly Eyes On You This April Fools Day!

With so much going on in the world right now, it would be fair to forget about April Fools' Day coming to games on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Blizzard hasn't even though, and that's likely why Googly Eyes can be seen all over Overwatch and its heroes.

Without offering a lot of fanfare, Twinfinite reported the developers unleashed a brand new cosmetic update that adds Googly Eyes to almost all characters. Even Hanzo's Dragons Ult has been given the Google treatment.

Update receives mixed reactions from players

There's no clear indication over how long this new replace will last and if it will likely be over, but quickly. The players were also shocked upon finding this feature while playing.

Express.co.uk said one player thought his graphics card was dying when he saw the update the first time, which made him confused.

Every character has these "ridiculous" eyes on them, while some players might not notice it in fast-paced matches. While it appears much less in the game, Bob does apparently feature them in certain circumstances.

One fan, according to Express.co.uk, said Bob does get the feature. Just, unfortunately, the eyes were not highlighted in the intros or victory poses.

Another fan "loved" the game, saying: "Someone went to a lot of trouble to do this for every skin and every character in-game." The same player rated the game 10 out of 10 for the April fools game.

The subsequent patch coming to Overwatch is predicted to offer less Googly Eyes. Still, it will prove just as entertaining, with the discharge of Echo anticipated later in April 2020.

When is Echo coming to PS4 and Xbox One?

Based on earlier man or woman launches, we might expect the Overwatch Echo release date to be set for April 2020.

As stated above, things ought to run differently with Echo because of present world events and the ongoing development of Overwatch 2.

But a much broader prediction might be for the new hero to be introduced to the sport through April 23, 2020, although no assurance has been furnished yet.

Echo could be introducing a new unique capability to the game to be able to make it possible to duplicate different Characters.

This will permit Echo to gain use of its abilities and could make it greater of a project to catch all the bugs that might be created via this process.

Another element is the current launch of the brand new experimental mode, which Blizzard has confirmed isn't supposed to be used as a PTR.

However, it is going to be interesting to peer if this new experimental mode on how Blizzard goes about releasing Echo on consoles.

The very last segment of the brand-new character release will be the release of Echo in Competitive Mode if you want to happen sometime after the A.I. turns into available in-game.
