Bloomberg reported that Apple is already switching its smartphone manufacturing from China to India to skirt the tariffs effected by President Donald Trump, but alongside this, it was revealed that the 20th Anniversary iPhone is set to be complex.

There is an expected revamp to the iPhone series once its 20th anniversary edition is here, and this will prompt a new pricing that is reportedly setting up the device to be expensive.

There are no expected figures yet revealed in the report, but it was reported that the 20th anniversary iPhone is set to have new components and feature a novel technique in its production.

These factors are revealed to be some of the reasons why reports expect expensive pricing for the 20th anniversary iPhone.

It is important to note that when the iPhone X came out in 2017, Apple sold it at a starting price of $999, which is already the most the company has a priced a base variant. The product that launched alongside it, the iPhone 8, followed almost the same pricing as the previous release, which started at $699 for the base model and $799 for the iPhone 8 Plus.

Last year saw a significant change in the iPhone lineup as the company decided to add the iPhone X to the list of vintage devices seven years since its release. It can be recalled that the iPhone X, Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone, was released in 2017.
