There have been many guides out there that tell you to be good at one thing, luckily for you, we have compiled most of the lists that new and returning players would appreciate making sure that you'd have an all-in-one guide for this gloriously fun and down to earth game.
How to Effectively Maximize Your Storage Space or Inventory
As you already know, crafting in this game is super fun but also takes up a lot of space when it comes to mats that you need to maintain and organize. So here are a few tips to make the most out of your digital space to make sure that you're 100 percent optimized!
Increase Your Inventory Space!
Upgrade them by going to the Nook Stop machine in Resident Services; you can use your Nook Miles to redeem them as well. The first thing to do is get that very first upgrade, which only costs about 5,000 Nook Miles. Not so hard to do, right? Before doing so, please do pay off your first loan to Tom before even thinking of doing this. The first upgrade will add a third row in your inventory, which will give you a total of 30 slots. Not bad to start with.
The second upgrade isn't going to be available until you upgrade your Resident Services tent, so better get going! Once you've completed, that upgrade makes sure to get the final update for inventory space by following this guide. Go back to the Nook Stoop machine, go ahead and upgrade it by a measly 8,000 Nook Miles. So now you've unlocked the fourth row, which now gives you a total of 40 inventory slots.
Now, if you think you'll be having problems with farming the needed mullah for your inventory upgrades, don't sweat it. We're not done teaching you yet!
How to Get Those Bells Quickly!
Bells are the main currency in the game, and you will need a lot of them to feel good about yourself and, of course, improve your humble island to a sprawling resort. You can hold a total of 99,999 bells at once, so make sure to deposit bells in the Nook Stop machine to avoid spending them as well as not waste valuable pocket space which you know is a value in itself.
You can always resort to selling items that you wouldn't need, but there are other ways to earn big in this game if you only put some time and effort into it. It is an Animal Crossing game, so it's worth it. Trust yourself.

Fruits!
If its apples, oranges, peaches, cherries, or even pears, if you trade these with friends or traveling to islands using Nook Miles Ticket, you can sell non-native fruits for 500 bells a fruit, that would be 5,000 bells a stack. Coconuts sell for 250 bells each, so keep that in mind. So think of planting fruit trees that are not native to your island for a quick buck, uh excuse me, bells.
Fishes and Bugs?
Catching fishes and bugs of high quality is a sure-fire way to increase your bells in no time. Various prices for fishes and bugs are listed here and here, respectively, and you wouldn't want to miss out on getting easy money while enjoying the game knowing you'd be coming back filthy rich.
Scorching Hot Items!
The time you have Nook's Cranny unlocked, Timmy and Tommy will select one "hot item" a day that they'd be willing to spend double for the usual price. They usually prefer things that you can craft and would be reasonably easy if you've been stacking up on mats. The key here is to choose what items are worth it more than others. Not just try to get everything right off the bat. If you have the resources and if it's worth thousands of bells, go for it. If less than that, don't bother. Just catch some more fodder or pick fruits.
Money Rocks and Money Trees
The rocks scattered across your island can give off money, but there's a trick to it to get the highest value for it effectively. Here's how: you can hit the rock eight times in rapid succession. BEFORE that though, dig a few holes behind you so you won't need to readjust. If you do this correctly, it will net you about 16,100 bells per day. Sweet!
Money trees are similar but a little different. You can do this once a day, look for a bright spot in the ground and dig up about 1,000 bells or bury bells in it to produce a money tree! The best suggestion people on the internet said it is to bury about 10,000 worth of bells. This would give you a tree that would provide three times your investment, which would be 30,000 bells. Easy enough!
So if you think that you're going need more things to learn before being the best and obviously, the wealthiest player in your friends. Don't forget to do these things and share them with people, or not. Just don't forget to enjoy the game and stay indoors!
