[VIDEO] Animal Crossing: New Horizons TIPS: What You Must Do Every Day and How to Duplicate an Item

Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the company's latest addition to the series. This life simulator seems to be doing exceptionally well today, especially when people are unable to come out of their houses--and it could be the reason how one player managed to find the game's glitch.

How to use the Animal Crossing: New Horizons glitch?

According to Polygon, there's a massive exploit in Animal Crossing that allows players to duplicate an item, which could be an advantage and make the player get richer more quickly.

However, there's a catch: you need another player to help you.

A YouTube content creator with the username GameXplain recently uploaded a video on the video-sharing site explaining how the glitch works, and it's rather simple.

What you need is an item that can be placed on a surface and the surface itself where you can put the first item, with GameXplain using cardboard and a Switch as examples, or perhaps an apple and a table.

To activate the glitch, put the object on the surface and have the second player rotate it endlessly, then you go to the other side, and while the second player is rotating it, pick it up at the same time.

Apparently, the game will retain the object on the surface, giving you two copies of the item. It could be repeated and can be done again if you fail the first time.

However, it is still unknown whether Nintendo will roll out a patch and resolve the glitch later on, or if there are any consequences that are using the glitch and exploiting it, so please use it at your own risk.

What are the important things to do every day in the game?

Meanwhile, here are some legit tips that can help Animal Crossing: New Horizons players keep their islands rolling on a daily basis.

As fans will know, there are changes in the game each day that provide players with lots of new things to do, so it's essential to interact with specific objects daily to get some Bells or even special furniture.

So, here are things that Animal Crossing: New Horizons should be doing every day:

  • Check-in at the Nook Stop every day to get bonus Nook Miles that increases the cap each day for seven consecutive days.
  • There is one rock in town that could drop 16,000 Bells each day if players hit it fast enough with their shovel, so make sure you find that rock. We've also been taught to dig two holes behind you to stop your character from bouncing and save some time.
  • Check what's for sale in the Nook Shop and all the shops in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, as there could be tons of new stuff that you might want.
  • Find the new locations of dig marks each day and keep on digging for fossils that you then can show to the Blathers. You can either donate them to the museum if they're a missing piece or sell them.

How're the game's sales?

In other news, it seems like Animal Crossing: New Horizons could be one of Nintendo's biggest launches, according to an industry analyst, Benji Sales, especially after dominating the UK boxed game chart based on a report by Eurogamer.
