Update: Grumpy Cat Makes More Money Than You Ever Will

Update: Grumpy Cat's owner, Tabatha Bundesen, says the reports of the cat's worth are "completely inaccurate."

At times, life can feel unfair. The weight of reality and responsibilities can come crashing down at any moment, and because of this, many people lead lives full of fear and anxiety. The world can be a very, very cruel place, and even at its best, life can seem like it's out to get you.

So, as if you needed something else to feel bad about today, know that a common house cat has made more money than you'll ever see in your entire life. That's right: Grumpy Cat is a fuzzy, moody millionaire.

And it's not as if the feline's fortune is just barely capping out at a million bucks: according to The Express, Grumpy Cat has made her owner nearly $100 million. That's right, this cat is officially a one percenter.

Since her debut on Reddit and Youtube back in 2012, the cat has become an absolute sensation. Sure, there are plenty of cute pets on YouTube, but few have a Lifetime movie starring a well-known actress made for them. It's amazing that something like this can even happen in the first place, but in the age of the internet, anything is possible.

Of course, it's fantastic news for Grumpy Cat's owner, Tabatha Bundesen, who was able to quit her terrible job so that she could take care of her now-famous cat.

"I was able to quit my job as a waitress within days of her first appearance on social media and the phone simply hasn't stopped ringing since." she told The Express. Sure, she may have jumped the gun a bit if she quit her day job a few days after her cat got popular, but both she and Grumpy Cat seem to be getting by.

Bundesen went on to say, "People take one look at her and fall in love, even if they actually think she's pug ugly."

Alright - yeah, it's hard not to love that little scowl...even if Grumpy Cat makes more money than 99 percent of human beings.
