It's National Cat Day! Or for everybody who lives on the internet: regular ol' Wednesday. But today, more so than normal, people are posting all of their favorite cat-related images under #NationalCatDay on social media, and some big names are also getting involved.
Like Marvel, for example, who has drawn cat renditions of some of their biggest superheroes. Some fans were less than thrilled about the idea of Thor being a woman, but it's probably safe to assume they will love Cat-Thor.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon also joined in on the cat celebrations.

iHeartradio has even dedicated a special banner on its website for the celebration.

National Geographic has a gallery of archival cat pictures throughout the years.

Of course, Grumpy Cat is less than impressed with all of the attention.
In fact, it looks like Grumpy Cat actually wrote the following post for USA Today.
According to your cat, it’s #NationalCatDay every day. https://t.co/U9EXJ8mzLs pic.twitter.com/0ma71O8dxs — USA TODAY (@USATODAY) October 29, 2014
What more is there to say? It's a cat world and we're just living in it.
