Glorious New 'Batman: Arkham Knight' Trailer Hits The Web

If there's any one feature in Batman: Arkham Knight that fans should be excited about, it's the Batmobile. The Batman: Arkham games are really the only true Batman games out there, but despite Arkham City's open world, Batman's famous ride has never made it into the series. That changes with Arkham Knight, and Rocksteady has made sure to put the Batmobile in the spotlight in this latest trailer.

Continuing on from last week's trailer, Rocksteady has released the second part of the 'Ace Chemicals Infiltration' video. While the first teaser was all about setting up Batman's initial trip into the Ace Chemicals plant, the second is much more cinematic, with a heavy emphasis on the one thing everyone is excited for: the Batmobile.

It's hard to complain about more Batman: Arkham Knight footage, but comparitively speaking, the second part of the Ace Chemicals trailer feels a bit lacking. It's a much more cinematic video than the first part, true, but it's also less informative. There's nothing really new here. Fans were able to see more about the Fear Takedowns and Batmobile exploration last week, but in part two, there's only more of the same vehicle-driven combat that players have seen before.

It's a strange move, considering Rocksteady was so intent on giving players information in last week's videos. Yes, we know that Batman will have to take on remotely-piloted tanks in Arkham Knight, but will he have to face them without the Batmobile? What happens when the Batmobile takes too much damage - is it just a Game Over, or will players have to find a way out?

Again, it's really hard to complain about more Batman: Arkham Knight footage, especially when Rocksteady Games has been so great about giving fans more. If anything, those hoping for something more informative might not have to wait long: the conclusion of the Ace Chemicals Infiltration trailer is due out on Dec. 6. Batman: Arkham Knight is set for release on June 2, 2015.
