Exclusive clip: Dwayne Johnson & Brett Ratner on the strength of 'Hercules'

Say what you will about Brett Ratner (and many have throughout his career), but there's no denying the fact that the man knows how to put a stellar cast together. There have been so many films made about the legend of Hercules over the years, but it's Ratner's strong cast that sets his 2014 Hercules apart from the rest. In addition to the hulking presence of Dwayne Johnson as the titular character, we're also treated to folks like Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, and John Hurt in supporting roles.

Based on the graphic novel Hercules: The Thracian Wars, the film is a stylized, action-packed look at the legendary son of Zeus. It arrives in an early Digital HD release today that action-film fans should be quick to snatch up.

T-Lounge is pumped to premiere this exclusive bonus features clip from the Hercules Digital HD release (available now). The clip features Director Brett Ratner, Supervising Stunt Coordinator Greg Powell, and star Dwayne Johnson discussing how Hercules' strength differs from that of mere mortals, and how they tried to emulate that during the film's fight sequences. We're also treated to some great behind-the-scenes clips from the filming of one of the epic fight scenes.

Hercules is available on Digital HD now. It arrives on Blu-ray & DVD on November 4.
