Director Tim Miller Wants 'Deadpool' and 'Spiderman' To Crossover In Next Film

Director Tim Miller was able to successfully reinvent Ironman before Marvel even came out with the films starring Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark and he is also an essential part of the team that brought a proper Deadpool to life after a decade and he did it to staggering success that Ryan Reynolds will wear the red suit again for the sequel which Miller already has a wish for.

During the DVD and Blu-ray release press day for Deadpool, the skilled director revealed that one of his wished for Deadpool 2 is to get Spider-Man to work with the merc with a mouth. That would not be an easy task to do since Deadpool and Spider-Man belong to different studios but who would doubt Miller and Reynolds' team can pull it off magnificently if they are given the opportunity?

Miller revealed that he was not the only one who wants to see a crossover happen because Producer Simon Kinberg is also on board and that they have been trying to build bridges just to make it happen.

"With all of the deals that have recently started happening, we asked if they could get visitation rights to Sony's friendly neighborhood Spider-Man [...] If it were even remotely possible, we will find a way 'cause we would love to see it," Miller said.

It would definitely be something to look forward to if they can make it happen. After all, even the comic books have the wall crawler and the red suit wearing mercenary joining forces to successfully pull off missions together. The only major concern would be how things would fare between Sony and 20th Century Fox since the Spider-Man films are PG-13 while Deadpool is not shy about its R-rating.

Perhaps it would be something like the official comic book art below.

How do you feel about a Spider-Man and Deadpool crossover?
