The 2016 MTV Movie Awards saw a bevy of stars descend to the Warner Brother Studios in Burbank, California on Saturday.
The popular movie award ceremony - which was aired on April 10 - also celebrated a milestone for the network - 25 glorious years!
The 25th MTV Movie Awards were hosted by Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, both of whom star in the impending flick Central Intelligence.
The top honors were taken by Star Wars: The Force Awakens which walked away with three awards: Movie of The Year, Best Breakthrough Act and Best Villain. Star Wars: The Force Awakens beat out Creed, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Jurassic World, Straight Outta Compton and Deadpool to take home the best movie honors.
Pitch Perfect 2 and Deadpool also managed to snag two awards each. Deadpool emerged the winner in the Best Fight and Best Comedic Performance categories, whereas Pitch Perfect 2 won for Best Ensemble Cast and the popular Best Kiss award.
Movie of The Year nominee Straight Outta Compton may not have taken home the award but emerged victorious in the Best True Story category.
The Best Female Performance award was snapped up by Charlize Theron for Mad Max: Fury Road. Theron beat out competition from Jennifer Lawrence, Alicia Vikander, Daisy Ridley, Anna Kendrick and Morena Baccarin.
The Best Male Performance award went to Leonardo DiCaprio for The Revenant. Leo edged out Chris Pratt, Matt Damon, Will Smith, Ryan Reynolds and Michael B. Jordan.
