If you've been wondering how the Samsung Galaxy S7's size will compare to current flagship smartphones, wonder no more. A new report shows off how the handset will compare to the Galaxy S6, iPhone 6s, and LG G4.
Samsung's Feb. 21 Unpacked event is quickly approaching and smartphone fans are eagerly waiting to see what the company has in store for us. A recently leaked internal Samsung presentation provided a look at how the Galaxy S7 will stack up to its predecessors, the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S5. We also got a glimpse of how the Galaxy S7's front panel compared to the Galaxy Note 5.
Now, a new report from Phone Arena compares the size of the Samsung Galaxy S7 with the Galaxy S6, Apple iPhone 6s, and LG G4 based on leaked images and dimensions. Here's a look at how each smartphone compares in size and weight.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 will reportedly measure 5.61 x 2.74 x 0.31 inches (142.5 x 69.5 x 7.9 mm), its exact weight is unknown at this time.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 measures 5.65 x 2.78 x 0.27 inches (143.4 x 70.5 x 6.8 mm) and weighs in at 4.87 oz (138 g).
The Apple iPhone 6s measures 5.44 x 2.64 x 0.28 inches
(138.3 x 67.1 x 7.1 mm) and weighs 5.04 oz (143 g).
The LG G4 measures 5.86 x 3 x 0.39 inches
(148.9 x 76.1 x 9.8 mm) and weighs 5.47 oz (155 g).
In terms of height, you can see, the LG G4 towers over the Samsung Galaxy S6, followed by the Galaxy S7, and the iPhone 6s is the shortest of the bunch.
When it comes to thickness, the LG G4's 9.8mm makes it the thickest, followed by the Samsung Galaxy S7's 7.9mm, Apple's iPhone 6s comes in at 7.1mm, and the Galaxy S6 is the thinnest of the bunch at 6.8mm.
Weight wise, the LG G4 is the heaviest at 5.47 oz, followed by the iPhone 6s at 5.04 oz, and the Galaxy S6 is the lightest at 4.87 oz.
