Leaked Screenshots For 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants In Manhattan' Reveal Cel-Shaded Art Style

The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game from Activision and Platinum Games hasn't been formally announced yet, but we already know a few details. For starters, the game has been classified in Australia and the game's achievements leaked.

Now we have our first glimpse at what the game will actually look like thanks to leaked screenshots provided to PureXbox, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fans look to be in for a treat.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan adopts a similar animated style to that of Platinum's previous title, Transformers Devastation. Screens show each of the four turtles, Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello, battling it out with ninjas of the foot clan as well as some familiar villains.

As for how it plays, we can only make assumptions based off the screenshots and Platinum's past history. Expect a combo heavy brawler that is full of style. Given how this is a TMNT game, we can only assume the game will be co-op in some form, whether online, local or both. However, until the game is officially announced, we won't know for sure.

PureXbox reports the title will be releasing on the Xbox One and Xbox 360 for certain, though other platforms at this time remain unconfirmed. At this point it's unclear if the game will be getting a retail release or will be digital only, so we'll have to wait for the official announcement for that information as well. You can check out some of the screenshots and what is said to be the game's boxart below.
