Xur's location from Dec. 25 through Dec. 27 has been revealed. Until Sunday, you'll find him waiting at the Tower, by the giant door near the Speaker.
As usual, Xur has packed some sweet exotics for you, so get on his nice list and pay up before he packs up his sack of treats for another day.
First off, you may want to exchange your strange coins for more light, or snatch up Xur's emerald coil, plasma drive, three of coins, heavy ammo synthesis or the newest item in his inventory, glass needles.
Different character classes may also want to buy up the exotics Xur has in stock just for you.
Titans, check out the Armamentarium exotic helmet. With Defense stats of 280, Discipline 43/63, and Strength 46/66. The helmet gets an additional grenade charge and increases Recovery for 5 seconds after taking Void splash damage. The Armamentarium also lets you carry more ammo for Special Weapons.
Hunters can scope out the Bones of Eao exotic leg armor with a Defense of 280, Intellect 42/60, and Discipline 44/62. The armor will upgrade the Hunter's Double Jump ability with an extraJump and increases the amount of Sniper Riffle ammunition that can be carried. Agility is also increased for 5 seconds after a Void double kill.
Warlocks get some treats too. The Ram exotic helmet especially for them has a Defense 280 and Strength 55/70. When equipped, Warlocks gain increased Armor and can trigger Life Steal on hit by a Voidwalker melee attack. Super energy bonuses are also gained from melee kills on minions of the Darkness, and melee energy bonuses are gained with Orb pickups.
Xur also has a sweet surprise in his bag of Christmas goodies: the Mida Multi-Tool exotic scout rifle. This weapon allows radar to stay active while aiming down its sights, boosts move speed, and fires on a hair trigger. It has an attack stat of 280.
And finally, Xur is offering a heavy weapon Legacy Engram on sale.
"These Engrams contain Year One Exotics (at Year One Attack and Defense levels) for players who want to finish up a Collection. They strongly bias towards Exotics not already in your Blueprint Collection, to help fill in the blank slots – excluding Mythoclast and Necrochasm, which are still only available from their Year One sources," Bungie explained.
