iPads With Apple SIM Get Exclusive Short-Term Cellular Data Plans With 'AlwaysOnline Wireless'

iPad users who are always on the go and need a reliable data service can now subscribe to LTE data plans offered by AlwaysOnline Wireless, a global LTE roaming network that offers data services exclusively to iPads with Apple SIM.

Starting from a mere payment of $0.99 an hour, customers can already use 15 MB data which the company offers by hour, data, or megabyte as payment options. The new offer is now available to iPad users with Apple SIM in more than 45 countries.

"There are times when you really need connectivity on-the-go and you don't want to plan your travel around Wi-Fi hotspots," said Emir Aboulhosn, CEO and Founder of Otono Networks Inc, which operates AlwaysOnline Wireless (AOW). "That's why we offer a global LTE roaming service with convenient short-term data plans to meet any traveler's needs, whether they need to catch-up on email in the car after landing or get directions to their next meeting."

AlwaysOnline offers roaming services in countries such as Saudi Arabia, Japan, Israel, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Mexico, Canada and more. While the site has listed at least 45 countries where the service is available, residents of most of these countries don't have access to the network's offered plans.

Customers can purchase an Apple SIM kit from any Apple Retail Store that is located in places such as the U.S., the UK, Canada, Australia, Switzerland, Sweden, Spain, Netherlands, Italy, Germany, France and Turkey. They then can check the full list of rates on their iPad with Apple SIM.

Apple introduced the Apple SIM in 2014 with models such as the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3, which are sold in the U.S. and in the UK. Lately, Apple added Apple SIM support to other models such as the iPad Mini 4 and iPad Pro. Through Apple SIM, users can easily move between networks and gain access to short-term data deals depending on their needs.

"In order to activate a plan you must have a cellular enabled iPad, an Apple SIM card and must be within our network coverage," said AOW. "Once you've selected the plan that is right for you press continue and you'll be prompted to enter your personal information in order to create an account if you are a new customer or you can login if you've purchased a plan before. Once the plan is activated you will see a notification on the iPad confirming data is active and that it is connected to AlwaysOnline in the top left of the screen."

AOW plans to roll out the service to more countries in the near future.
