Nicole Kidman Reportedly To Be Cast As An Amazon Warrior in Wonder Woman?

Fly in the Invisible Jet and get ready to get whipped with the Lasso of Truth because the "Wonder Woman" production is in negotiations to rope in Australian Actress and Oscar Winner Nicole Kidman to play a part in the upcoming "Wonder Woman" adaptation. As to what character Kidman will play, that information is still under wraps.

The "Wonder Woman" film is set for release in 2017 but, so far, only two actors have been confirmed. First is Gal Gadot who will play the title character of Wonder Woman and Diana, and Chris Pine who will play the heroine's love interest, Steve Trevor.

The only sure thing about the negotiation reports with Kidman is that she is being offered to play the role of a High Ranking Amazonian Warrior but, given that nearly everyone in Themyscira is an Amazon Warrior and that a number of them are high ranking, all we can do is wait for the official announcement. However, there are speculations that the high ranking Amazonian warrior refers to Diana's mother and mentor and the Queen of Themyscira herself, Hippolyta. The prospect of seeing Kidman in such a role would be incredibly thrilling if the speculations are correct because many have agreed that Kidman would be the perfect Hippolyta.

The plot details are also being kept secret by the production but there is also the possibility of Kidman playing the role of a villain. Since there was confirmation that Wonder Woman's origins will take after the New 52, Hera could come into play and instead of a high ranking amazon warrior, Kidman could be promoted to goddess. She could also be Circe, although Eva Green was originally rumored to be the actress being considered for the role of Circe, along with Sean Bean as Ares. The only question is: if Sean Bean would play Ares, does that mean that Ares will be the first to die in the film, even if he is a god?

Whatever the role, we only have one answer to the possibility of Kidman being in the "Wonder Woman" film: yes, please.
