The Universe Could End In A 'Big Rip,' Scientists Say

Experts found that the universe may come to its end state through the 'Big Rip' theory, which pertains to the eventual disintegration of all objects up to the atomic level when 'dark energy' continues to take action. The said phenomenon is said to reach its ultimate culmination 22 billion years from now.
