Good news to Fallout fanatics out there: Bethesda and Steam have decided to offer a huge discount on each and every Fallout title as well as Fallout compilations, cutting the price of every game to below $10.
During the Steam Weekend Sale from Oct. 22 through Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. PT, the Fallout series, except Fallout 4 (available for preorder with bonuses via Steam), is on sale through Steam, allowing consumers to save up to 66 percent off the original price.
Discounts vary, though, but a few titles have been given 66 percent off their price tags.
While some titles, particularly the recent games, offer only minimal discounts and, while huge discounts are up only for the oldest ones, Bethesda and Steam have made sure every single title has a price tag of under $10, giving new players the chance to try out the series without hurting their pockets.
Following is the full list of games as well as sale prices:
- Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game – currently priced at $3.39 (66 percent off the original price)
- Fallout: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game – now sold at $3.39 (66 percent off)
- Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel – sold at $3.39 (66 percent off)

- Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition – can be purchased at $9.99 (50 percent off)
- Fallout: New Vegas – has a price of $3.39 (66 percent off)
The weekend price cuts are proof that Bethesda does not bleed fans' wallets dry. The company has revealed there will be no microtransactions in its latest installment, Fallout 4. It also announced microtransactions will be fully optional in Fallout Shelter and that it will not bring paid mods back for Fallout 4.
Bethesda knows fans really need something to sate their appetites prior to the release of Fallout 4 weeks from now, as one report remarked.
In the meantime, Steam has unwrapped a Dota 2 announcer pack that will be incorporated in the purchase of Fallout 4. This game will be played via PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this coming Nov. 10.
