To celebrate the upcoming release of Fallout 4, Bethesda is throwing a huge sale over on its online store, a sale that comes complete with the introduction of new Fallout merchandise for players to drool over.
Each day, a new Fallout-themed product will go on sale. Today is an exclusive T-shirt, with tomorrow's exclusive being a Fallout 4 Xbox One controller. Sporting a blue and yellow color scheme that matches the thumbs-up-giving Vault Boy on the side, to call this controller slick-looking is a huge understatement.
There are a number of features that make the controller special as well. The D-Pad has special icons not seen on a standard Xbox One controller, which likely relate to what the buttons are used for in Fallout 4. It also appears that the controller has an additional button nestled underneath the right stick.
That's just the start. The sticks themselves look different from your regular Xbox One controller, the controller is missing the usual headset adapter port and only sports a 3.5 mm audio jack instead, and it's wired instead of wireless. Still, it's a sight to behold, though we currently don't know how much this bad boy will retail for. If you want one, you'll have to have to be fast. Bethesda says only 5,000 of the limited edition controllers will be available.
In addition to the controller, a Pip-Boy-themed messenger bag will go on sale Wednesday, followed by a Vault-Tec watch on Thursday and a limited edition Fallout 4 art book on Friday.
Various shirts, posters and other gear is discounted by 20 percent until Oct. 26. If you preorder Fallout 4 through the site, you'll get the exclusive Great War T-shirt free of charge.
Fallout 4 releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on Nov. 10.
