Awesome news, LOL fans! Even though Riot Games is busy prepping the League of Legends World Championships, they still found time to treat us with Patch 5.20.
In the patch notes, Kindred, the Eternal Hunters, are finally revealed while Teemo gets powered up.
A lamb wearing a wolf's mask, Kindred represents life and death. The grim reaper is spoken about in whispers and seen by all in life's last moments.
While making the character, the team pondered upon the death of a lamb and the death of a wolf.
"Separate, but never parted, Kindred represents the twin essences of death. Lamb's bow offers a swift release for those who accept their fate. Wolf hunts down those who run from their end, delivering violent finality within his crushing jaws," League of Legends game info page describes the relationship between Lamb and Wolf.
Tapping into the yin-yang dynamic, the lamb and the wolf fills in for each other's lack.
"Lamb knew much about the world, but felt very little, whereas Wolf felt everything, but lacked in the knowledge department. We loved the idea that these two never fought over kills, or were ever at odds, because, in the end, the Lamb and the Wolf are two parts of one whole," wrote Riot on the official LOL page.
Meanwhile, Riot Games fixed the adorable little fuzz monster Teemo.
Teemo, a real infuriating rival, was buffed by Riot in patch 5.15 to make him a more nimble fighter.
"The big idea for 5.15 was to broaden Teemo's traps applications allowing him the option to convert advantages from a solo lane to team fights," wrote Riot.
However, the boost drained too much power in the process.
To rescue Teemo's trapplications in the 5.20 patch, Riot is now decreasing his arm time and cooldown to increase Teemo's reliability across all phases of the game.
