The Toy and Action Figure Museum first opened its doors in October 2005. It is a nonprofit organizatiion dedicated to the art of all things action figures and sculpture. More than 50,000 visitors over the years have been through the doors of this truly awesome museum that any toy collector would swoon over.
The museum reportedly currently houses over 13,000 action figures and even more drawings and cartoons penned by famous cartoonists and comic book artists from Oklahoma.
According to the museum's curator, Kevin Stark, the museum is a joy to visit for children and collectors alike. He also conducts art demonstrations for students who go to the museum on field trips. The museum also hosts special events such as corporate events and birthday parties.
