Who ya gonna call? The answer to that is Sigourney Weaver, who Paul Feig recently called and signed on for the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot movie.
Weaver joins original Ghostbusters stars Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd, Ernie Hudson and Annie Potts as part of the new installment in the Ghostbusters franchise. Of course, with the new film rebooting the story, it's still a surprise as to who Weaver plays in the movie.
Weaver recently announced interest in appearing the new film.
"I think that's awesome," Weaver told Screen Rant about the new Ghostbusters. "I think it's great. I think it's going to be fantastic. I can't wait to see it."
Weaver even came up with some ideas about her character, as well as the characters of the other original cast members, in the reboot:
"They might have us pop up as marshmallow men or something and then destroy us," she said. "I don't know. I hope they will think of some silly way for us to be in it. Maybe I could play that ancient librarian who goes [makes noise]."
Feig, the new film's director, made the announcement today on Twitter.
Gang, trying to keep surprises but this is about to leak, so I'll tell you myself: the awesome Sigourney Weaver is going to be in our movie!

Weaver appeared in both the first Ghostbusters film as well as the sequel, Ghostbusters II, as cellist Dana Barrett: in the first movie, Dana's apartment gets haunted by an evil spirit, so she calls the Ghostbusters and asks for their help.
The only two names missing from the list of original Ghostbusters actors who hasn't yet signed on for the reboot is Rick Moranis, who retired from acting in 1997 after losing his wife to cancer. However, the actor once stated he'd come out of retirement for Ghostbusters 3 (which never happened), so perhaps Feig can convince him to come back for the reboot instead. Sadly, though, the other actor missing from the reboot, Harold Ramis, passed away last year.
The Ghostbusters reboot has already received its share of criticism, particularly for Feig's decision to recast the previously all-male roles with female actresses: Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon and Melissa McCarthy. However, Feig has used Twitter defend the film as well as the actresses cast in it.
You all have no idea what we did, so stop acting like you do. Enough is enough. Just let this movie happen. #enough https://t.co/lBZGHaNEbz — Paul Feig (@paulfeig) September 23, 2015
Then you should embrace a new generation getting their own version. GB is a positive force. Your negativity isn't. https://t.co/MOKZpLLIBo — Paul Feig (@paulfeig) September 24, 2015
