Remember that PlayStation and PC exclusive title known as The Witness that was shown off 2-years ago? We didn't until now. It's a game by Jonathan Blow, the game director many gamers have come to hate in the past.
The Witness is all about being a puzzle game, so we do not expect it to have many fans, but that doesn't matter because it looks very intriguing despite the fact we've seen less gameplay.
For the first time in two years, a trailer has been released showing off the game's world and how artistically pretty it is. Not only that, but this trailer also gave us the release date of the title.
The full game will be released on the PlayStation 4 and PC come Jan. 16, 2016. Before then, we expect the developer show potential buyers what this game is truly about with several videos demoing the gameplay.
We should point out that Jonathan Blow, on the official PlayStation Blog, stated that the game should be around 80 to 100-hours long. This is mainly for those gamers who want to scour every nook and cranny of the game to find all the unique items.
As for how long it would take to complete the main aspect of the game, this was not revealed, but we're guessing a good 30-hours and this game is done for.
When it came down to pricing, Jonathan Blow says his company is not yet certain about that after being asked by a PlayStation 4 owner in the comment section of the blog.
"We are still figuring out pricing as well as the possibility of a physical retail release in addition to the download.
As we know these things for sure, we will let you know!"
We can't wait to give this game a spin just to see what the fuss is all about. No to mention, it has been a long time since we came across a compelling puzzle game, so we are hoping The Witness will fill that gap for months to come.
