Costco is offering its members a rare rebate deal if they preorder an iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus from the retailer. Depending on the model and carrier, customers can snag up to $125 in rebates, plus other goodies.
Apple has just announced its latest flagship iPhones, the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The launch appears to be a great success so far, with the company announcing preorders hitting record levels, and many models, including all iPhone 6s Plus phablets and some of the iPhone 6s models, especially in the new rose gold color option, are already on backorder.
The heavy demand for the devices is one reason why we're so surprised to see a significant rebate offer from Costco on the new iPhone preorders prior to the actual release date of Sept. 25. Right now, customers ordering select models from T-Mobile, Verizon and Sprint via Costco can get up to $125 in cash rebates, plus free bonus accessories.
T-Mobile customers are in the most luck, as they can choose from any version of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus and receive rebates in the form of Costco cash cards totaling $125, plus a free accessory bonus pack including a dock and car charger.
Verizon and Sprint customers are being offered a $50 rebate on the purchase of select models, which include the 16 GB or 64 GB Space Gray iPhone or the 16 GB Gold iPhone 6s Plus, along with a free accessory bonus pack. AT&T customers, unfortunately, aren't being offered any sort of preorder rebate.
In order to take advantage of this deal, customers must order their iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus online from the Costco website before Sept. 24.
